Confident Rosario was able to show off her long toned legs thanks to the frock's short cut.

The pretty brunette also showcased her natural beauty by keeping her make-up to an absolute minimum.

Just a few days before her red carpet appearance, the star decided to share her more serious side with fans when she attended the annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Lecture held at the Zellerbach Theater at Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts.

Clearly moved by what she had heard at the event, Rosario took to her Instagram account afterwards to pay tribute to the African American hero.

'Thank you #MartinLutherKingJr for standing up for our humanity and showing us what we are capable of when we choose love over hate, peace over violence, interdependence and cooperation over narrow self-interests.

'Your sacrifices are not in vain! You inspired people to move mountains and the world is a better place for it.

'I am dedicated to following in your footsteps and continuing where you left off… Who is with me? #forgethepath #BeTheChange #MartinLutherKingJrDay #MLKDay2015 An endless level of gratitude and admiration. Thank you!'

Despite her seemingly high spirits, a secret heartache has been haunting Rosaio - which she talked about during a recent stint on The Late Show With Seth Meyers.

The actress admitted that she is still coming to terms with the loss of her beloved grandmother, who passed away back in 2011.

While filming her latest flick Finally Famous, the actress was so cut up that she had to take some tight out to allow herself to mourn.

‘My grandmother passed two years earlier and I had just done so many other projects all over the place,’ she said.

‘I did Trance, I did Sin City, I did '(Cesar) Chavez, I did Gimme Shelter; I worked and worked and worked and I just didn't have time to mourn.

'And I really love my grandmother… I needed to sit and be with my family.
