EDUN X STUDIO 189

LAUNCHES A NEW EXCLUSIVE RESORT 2018 COLLECTION

Made in Ghana

The coastal fishing towns of Ghana inspired the start of a visual narrative for EDUN’s Resort 2018 collection. After a recent visit to the West African country, the EDUN Collective pulled visual cues from the colorful fishing nets and ropes that line the Ghanaian coast, and blended with inspirations from the eclectic architecture of Cape Coast and Accra, to create a bold and graphic collection with signature handcraft artisanal techniques. Soft and silky lines are hit with energetic accents as feminine silhouettes are layered with structured sportswear. Cool hues of indigo, navy, ecru, and ivory, form the base of the collection’s color palette, and the colors of the Ghanaian flag deliver bold accents in red, green and yellow.
In its constant support of sustainable and ethically sourced materials, EDUN continues to celebrate its exclusive collaborations for Resort2018. A custom silk hand-batik fabric was developed with the artisans of Studio One Eighty Nine in Ghana.
The collection will be a available for sale exclusively at Edun stores. For more information visit Edun.com
